1. Purpose
The pre-order service allows customers to reserve a product that is not yet immediately available and is expected to be received by EMW at a later date.
2. Completion of the Pre-Order
The pre-order is completed after the successful payment of the deposit listed on the product page and the sending of the relevant confirmation email. The confirmation includes the model, version, or color; the total price; the deposit amount; the balance due; and the estimated delivery date.
3. Product and Price Reservation
Once payment is confirmed, one unit of the product specified in the pre-order is reserved for the customer. The total price is fixed as displayed upon completion of the pre-order, unless there is a change requested and accepted by the customer, such as a different model, equipment, color, shipping method, or other additional service.
4. Deposit and Final Payment
The deposit is applied toward the total value of the product. The remaining amount is payable prior to the delivery or shipment of the vehicle, in accordance with the instructions that will be sent to the customer. Any shipping costs or charges for additional services are displayed before the order is completed or are disclosed to and approved by the customer before they are charged.
5. Estimated Delivery Date
The delivery date listed on the product page and in the pre-order confirmation is an estimate based on the latest information provided to us by the manufacturer, unless explicitly stated otherwise. In the event of a change, EMW will notify the customer of the new estimated date. The customer may accept the new date or, if EMW is unable to deliver within the agreed-upon timeframe or a reasonable extension thereof, request cancellation and a refund of the amounts paid, in accordance with applicable law.
6. Arrival and Notification
Upon the product’s arrival and the completion of its technical inspection and preparation, EMW notifies the customer via email and/or by phone.
7. Pickup or Shipping
Delivery is made either by pickup at the store or by shipping to the agreed-upon address. In the case of shipping, any shipping costs and specific shipping terms are communicated prior to shipment. Shipping time after the product is handed over to the shipping company depends on the destination and the carrier’s network.
8. Pre-order Cancellation
Cancellation requests must be submitted in writing to info@emw.gr, stating your full name and pre-order number. Cancellation and refunds are processed in accordance with applicable law, the time the request is submitted, and any special characteristics of the order. These terms do not limit the rights granted to the consumer by law.
9. Failure to Fulfill
If EMW is unable to supply the pre-ordered product, it will notify the customer and refund the amounts paid for that specific pre-order using the same payment method, where technically feasible.
