The E-RIDE MT-8S Double combines a 2,600W electric motor with two removable 72V 27Ah lithium batteries, providing long everyday range and flexible urban mobility.

The dual-battery system provides a total capacity of 54Ah / 3.888 kWh and a stated range of 110–150 km. Both batteries can be removed from the scooter, making charging at home or at work more convenient.

Its 2,600W electric motor provides responsive and quiet operation. The MT-8S Double is available as a 45 km/h moped requiring an AM licence, as well as an approved 25 km/h version that does not require a driving licence.

Front and rear disc brakes, 90/80-12″ tubeless tyres, LED lighting, USB charging, an alarm and energy recovery create a practical everyday equipment package.

A long two-person seat, rear top box and 1,390 mm wheelbase further enhance everyday practicality.

Choose the 45 km/h AM-licence version or the approved 25 km/h no-driving-licence configuration.

The E-RIDE MT-8S Double is available in two different maximum speed configurations.

45 km/h Version
In the approved version with a maximum speed of 45 km/h, the vehicle is classified as a moped and may be driven with the following licenses:

AM
A1
A2
A
The minimum age for obtaining an AM license is 16 years.

In Greece, Class B also covers AM vehicles when the driver:

is at least 27 years old, and
has held a Class B license for more than 6 years.
Code 121 is not required for this specific B → AM equivalence.

25 km/h Version — No License Required
The MT-8S Double is also available in an approved configuration with a maximum factory-set speed of 25 km/h.

For mopeds with a maximum factory-set speed of up to 25 km/h, a driver’s license is not required.

The rider must be at least 15 years old.

This option applies to the approved 25 km/h version and is not merely a temporary selection of a lower speed by the rider.
