When retro styling meets modern electric mobility technology, the result is the E-RIDE E-RV YUMA. Its curved bodywork, round headlight and elegant step-through frame create a distinctive electric scooter for comfortable and economical everyday journeys.

The powerful 2,100W brushless electric motor, delivering up to 3,000W peak output, provides smooth, quiet and responsive acceleration. The road-legal version is restricted to a maximum speed of 45 km/h, while the technical specifications state a capability of up to 60 km/h. To remain legally classified as a moped, the vehicle must retain the approved configuration stated in its Certificate of Conformity.

The removable 60V 30Ah NCM lithium battery provides a stated maximum range of up to 75 km on a full charge. The YUMA can also accommodate a second identical battery, increasing total capacity to 60Ah and maximum range to as much as 150 km. Both batteries can be removed from the vehicle, allowing them to be charged away from the parking location.

For improved control, the YUMA is equipped with front and rear hydraulic disc brakes, combined with a regenerative braking system that recovers part of the vehicle’s kinetic energy during deceleration. The hydraulic front fork and twin rear shock absorbers help absorb everyday road imperfections.

It may be ridden with an AM licence or, subject to the applicable conditions in Greece, with a Category B car driving licence.

Current legislation

The E-RIDE E-RV YUMA version restricted to 45 km/h, with continuous rated power below 4 kW, corresponds functionally to a two-wheel moped. It requires an AM-category licence or a higher motorcycle licence category, provided that the vehicle category and technical specifications are confirmed through the Certificate of Conformity of the specific unit. The minimum age for obtaining an AM licence in Greece is 16.

In Greece, the vehicle may also be ridden with a Category B car driving licence when both of the following conditions are met:

the driver is at least 27 years old;
the driver has held the Category B licence for more than six years.
The Greek B-to-AM equivalence does not require the five practical training lessons or national Code 121 that apply to the B-to-A1 extension. This equivalence is a national provision and applies within Greek territory.
