The E-RIDE MT-8 25KM/H is a practical electric scooter combining a 2,600W motor, removable lithium battery and a road-legal 25 km/h speed restriction.

Its removable 72V 27Ah lithium battery stores 1.944 kWh of nominal energy and provides a stated maximum range of 60–80 km. The battery can be removed from the scooter for more convenient charging.

The 2,600W motor provides quiet and responsive performance, while this specific version is restricted to 25 km/h. The underlying technical specification lists a higher unrestricted capability, but this does not represent the legal operating speed of this version.

Front and rear disc brakes, 90/80-12″ tubeless tyres, LED lighting, energy recovery, USB charging and an alarm provide a practical equipment package for daily use.

A two-person physical seat, rear top box and 1,390 mm wheelbase further increase everyday practicality.

No driving licence is required for the approved 25 km/h version, and the rider must be at least 15 years old.

Greek law explicitly states that a driver’s license is not required for mopeds with a maximum factory-set speed not exceeding 25 km/h.

At the same time, persons under the age of 15 are prohibited from operating such a moped.

The exemption from the driver’s license requirement does not mean that the vehicle ceases to be a moped. To operate legally on public roads, the requirements arising from the vehicle’s registration and documentation—such as a registration certificate and insurance—still apply. The official procedure for moped registration remains in effect.
